Navigating entry formalities should never overshadow the anticipation of your journey. We outline the current requirements for entering Nepal, obtaining Trekking Information Management System (TIMS) cards, and securing National Park permits without administrative friction.
Most international nationalities can obtain a Tourist Visa on Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Required documents include a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, passport-sized photographs, and payment in major foreign currency or card.
For protected conservation areas such as Annapurna, Sagarmatha, and Langtang, mandatory permits and TIMS cards must be secured prior to trailhead entry. Simsime handles all official filings on behalf of our travelers to guarantee compliance.
